Resident Success Story: Madonna

February 28, 2020

Madonna Kovi was admitted to Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation with wounds, edema, wasn’t able to communicate effectively and was unable to sit on the edge of the bed or provide any self-care. Throughout Madonna’s stay, the therapy and other Care Team members worked closely together to help her heal and regain her independence. Madonna worked hard in therapy and met many of her goals! She can now communicate her needs, walk with a walker, she can get out of bed on her own, complete self-care tasks, and join in with daily activities! What a true success!
