Brenda came to Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation following a hospitalization after a cardiac arrest, focused on rebuilding her strength and working toward a return to the community. Upon arrival, she required dialysis treatments and needed support with her mobility and activities of daily living. Determined to regain her independence, Brenda worked closely with our interdisciplinary team throughout her recovery journey.

Through personalized nursing care and dedicated Physical and Occupational Therapy services, Brenda made remarkable progress. She steadily improved her strength, endurance, mobility, and independence with daily routines while gaining the confidence needed to move forward safely. One of the most exciting milestones in her journey was successfully completing her dialysis treatments and no longer requiring ongoing dialysis care.

Brenda remained motivated and committed to her goals every step of the way. Today, we are proud to celebrate her accomplishments as she works toward securing housing and returning to the community.

Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Carlos Tackett’s Success Story!

Carlos came to Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation on July 24 focused on recovery and rebuilding his strength after a spine and kidney infection. When he arrived, he needed significant support with mobility and was unable to get out of bed on his own. Determined to regain his independence, Carlos worked closely with our therapy team and committed himself to the rehabilitation process.

Through consistent effort and dedication, Carlos made tremendous progress. He regained the ability to get up independently, became more self-sufficient with his daily routines, and is now walking down the hallway with his walker. Along the way, he also experienced an improved appetite and renewed energy as his strength returned.

We are thrilled to celebrate Carlos as he prepares to discharge home, stronger, more confident, and ready for his next chapter. Congratulations to Carlos and his amazing care team on this wonderful achievement!

Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation is proud to share Scotty’s Success Story!

Scotty came to Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation on June 22 following back surgery with a goal of rebuilding his strength and returning home. Throughout his rehabilitation journey, he worked closely with our therapy team and remained committed to making progress each day.

Through dedication and hard work, Scotty achieved meaningful improvements in his mobility, balance, and overall independence. He is now transferring more easily, demonstrating improved standing balance, and walking longer distances with greater confidence.

We are excited to share that Scotty is discharging home and beginning his next chapter. He shared that he was happy with the care he received and appreciated the support and kindness shown by our team throughout his stay.
